Tizz’s love of mechanics was born out of watching his dad fix their farm’s many Land Rovers. Aged 12, Tizz bought his first car with his pocket money and went to work restoring it to a fully working vehicle.

After completing his national diploma in engineering in 1999, he started working in commercial vehicle maintenance. In 2002, Tizz started Auto Team Mechanics, which has grown into a thriving business specialising in Land Rover servicing & maintenance.

Our History

Starting in 2002, Auto Team Mechanics initially provided mobile mechanic services for commercial vehicles and plant machinery. In the following years, they moved into servicing cars and light commercial vehicles at their Itchingfield workshop. In 2013 they became affiliated members of the Auto Care Group which represents independent garages that comply with high operating standards.
